 The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Services Board is proud to announce that a replacement has been appointed for the vacant position of Chief of Police  Deputy Chief Laurie Hayman has been chosen to take over the post of Chief of Police, effective May 17, 2012.  A 3-year veteran of the service, Deputy Chief Hayman is a trusted member who has played an integral role in the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service.  Laurie began her policing career in 1981 with the UWO police, and became a sworn officer as a Constable with the St. Thomas Police in 1986.  She has the distinction of being the read the rest.

Weekly Press Release May 18th, 2012 Incident 2866 – B&E Residence/Theft (Strathroy, Ontario)  On May 12th a drive shed on Adelaide Road was broken into shortly after 7:00 am and several items taken including a 2011 Polaris ATV green in colour with an Ontario plate 88WP4.  Other items stolen included a harrow attachment and fishing gear.   If anyone has information in relation to this incident please contact the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service at (519) 245-1250 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. The Strathroy Caradoc Police remind all residents to lock their vehicles when unattended even if only for a short time and at any time of the day.  Do not leave computer equipment, GPS devices, or valuables in plain sight even if your vehicle is locked. Lock it or Lose it!!!!!!  Thieves are opportunists.  Don’t make yourself or your vehicle an opportunity.
